FAQs
How often should I visit the dentist?
The American Dental Association and our team recommends patients visit us twice a year in order to preserve healthy, natural dental structures. We recommend every six months, as that is how long it takes bacteria to grow to a level that causes issues, even with good home dental care!
What is periodontal disease?
Periodontal (gum) disease is an oral health issue. In the early stages, it begins as an irritation caused by plaque and tartar buildup, but left untreated, it develops into a more serious health concern breaking down connective gum tissue.
Should I have oral cancer screenings even if I don’t smoke?
Absolutely. More than a quarter of all those who suffer from oral cancer do not smoke or use other forms of tobacco. Early diagnosis is the best way to reduce oral cancer related deaths.
What if I have an emergency?
Contact our team right away. We’re happy to offer same day care whenever possible, and will always take time to walk patients through first aid treatments to preserve health until they arrive.
Do you take my insurance?
We’re proud to work as in-network providers for many insurance companies, and we process and file claims for any benefit plan to maximize patients’ coverage.
